– Refusing „to let Russia win“ while also rejecting diplomacy & negotiations implies the only acceptable outcome is to defeat Russia, which Russia deems to be an existential threat 
– Nuclear war is the next step in the escalation ladder after this, as it is guaranteed that a nuclear holocaust will happen long before US/NATO troops can march into Crimea
– 10 years into this proxy war, and we are still obligated to refer to this as a „Ukraine-Russia war“
